Tournament Format
The Triple Cut Classic is a celebrity golf tournament benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — Detroit's first signature golf event of its kind. Designed to bring together athletes, entertainers and the golf community in one high-energy day of competition and purpose, the tournament features a single-elimination format that raises the stakes on every hole. Unlike a traditional scramble where the outcome is decided at the end, the Triple Cut Classic cuts the field in real time at designated checkpoints throughout the round. Only the best-performing teams advance. The champion is determined at hole 18.
