St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® is changing what's possible for kids with cancer and has been since 1962. Here's what makes their work unlike anything else:

  • Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus entirely on helping their child live.

  • When St. Jude opened, childhood cancer was considered largely incurable. Today, St. Jude has helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%.

  • Treatments developed at St. Jude have helped raise survival rates dramatically — from just 4% to 94% for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and from 10% to 85% for brain tumors.

  • St. Jude serves every child, regardless of race, ethnicity, beliefs or ability to pay.

  • In many countries, 1 out of 5 children diagnosed with cancer will survive. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.
